序文への想い
日本の伝統と呼ばれる工芸は、
たくさんの手から手へ、
長い時間をかけて受け継がれてきました。
その手の一つひとつに、
今日まで磨かれてきた技と、
ものづくりへの想いが宿っています。
「序文」は、その技が、
これからの暮らしのなかでも
あたりまえのように息づいていくように
職人さんとともにつくるプロジェクトです。
長く磨かれてきたものを、
今日の装いへ、手のひらへ。
暮らしに、そっと灯りをともすものへ。
つくる人にも、使う人にも、
その品が、新しい章のはじまりになるように。
はじまりは、いつも希望にあふれている。
受け継がれてきたものだからこそ、
これからを照らす力になる。
だから、この物語は続いていく。

What we call traditional Japanese craft
has been passed from hand to hand,
across long spans of time.
In each of those hands lives
the skill refined until today,
and a quiet love for making.
Prologue+ is a project shaped together with artisans,
so that those crafts may keep breathing —
naturally, quietly —
within the lives we are about to live.
What has long been polished,
into today's garments, into the palms of our hands.
Into something that lights everyday life, softly.
For both the one who makes and the one who wears,
may this piece become the beginning of a new chapter.
A beginning is always full of hope.
Because it has been carried this far,
it now has the power to illuminate what comes next.
